Film Club
Films and motion pictures play a vital role in influencing people by entertaining and inspiring them. The film industry is so massive that it ensures a wide range of career opportunities for people. Several students in the college aspire for a career in the film industry and the film club strives to guide them to their goal. In fact, many of the former members of the Film Club have joined Film Institutes to pursue filmmaking and are active in the industry. Dr. Gem Cherian (Asst Professor, Dept of English) serves as the Co-ordinator of the Club. Meetings are held on a regular basis to discuss films and club members write film reviews. Three films have been produced by the Film Club members in the previous academic years.- ‘ELISA’ in March 2016 directed by Siju James (3rd B.A. English 2015-16 batch)
- ‘Luke 10:33’ in March 2017 directed by Steffin George (2nd B.A. English 2015-18 batch)
- ‘Innalekalil’ in January 2018 directed by Arjun V (2nd B.Com (Computer Application) 2016-19 batch)
