  • Prof. Dr. Indulal G has been acclaimed as a Research Guide at Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, affiliated with MG University, Kottayam.
  • Prof. Dr. Indulal G has been distinguished by his inclusion in the esteemed list of scientists published by the European Science Evaluation Centre, Germany.
  • Prof. Dr. Indulal G has ascended to the role of Principal at St. Aloysius College, Edathua.

  • Anumol Thomas proudly secured the 7th rank in BSc at MG University in 2015.
  • Andria Noronha achieved the prestigious 1st rank in BSc at MG University in 2018.
  • Bhavithalakshmi R earned the notable 10th rank in BSc at MG University in 2020.
  • Andria Noronha also shone by securing the 6th rank in MSc at MG University in 2020.
  • Kiran Theresa Mathew impressively attained the 6th rank in BSc at MG University in 2021.
  • Aneesa Asharaf distinguished herself by achieving the 7th rank in BSc at MG University in 2022.

Academic Engagements and Initiatives

  • Postgraduate students actively participated and presented research papers at the International Seminar held at St. Stephen's College, Pathanapuram.
  • As part of the PG Colloquium, the department organized and delivered lectures aimed at popularizing mathematics.
  • Instructional workshops were conducted in neighboring higher secondary schools, with postgraduate students serving as resource persons.

  • Arjun A. and Devika K. L. qualified at the district level and represented the college at the State-Level Idea Pitching (PG) event organized by the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology, and Environment (KSCSTE), supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
These accomplishments highlight the department’s unwavering dedication to academic excellence, innovation, and community engagement, reflecting the vibrant spirit of both faculty and students.
The Postgraduate Department of Mathematics of our institution has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today with LINNK Academy, LINNK Outsource Solution India Ltd., operating partner of ASAP Kerala, Infopark, Kochi, to foster academic collaboration, promote research initiatives, and facilitate student and faculty exchange programmes.
The Post Graduate Department of Mathematics won the Overall Trophy at the PG Fest organised by the PG Forum yesterday. The students showcased their talents through a variety of events including Just a Minute, Paper Presentation, Critical Thinking, Decision Making, and several other stage performances highlighting their skills and creativity.

The Best Outgoing Mathematics UG Student Award, lovingly instituted by the 2020–22 M.Sc. Mathematics batch of our institution, was presented to Kum. Sreekuty Omanakuttan. of III B. Sc Mathematics on 13.3.2026

Happy to announce that five students Gopika S, Fathimathul Hind M, Aliya M, Josmy Antony and Rosmin James from the Postgraduate Department of Mathematics proudly presented their research papers before an eminent gathering of scholars at the International Conference held at Mahatma Gandhi University on 27 February 2026. Congratulations to Dr. Salu S, alumnus of Department of Mathematics on the successful completion of his PhD in Mathematics from the University of Kerala, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Bibin K. Jose., SD College, Alappuzha.
