The Quiz Club of St. Aloysius College, Edathua is a dynamic and intellectually stimulating platform designed to ignite curiosity and enhance the knowledge of our students. The Club serves as a vibrant community where inquisitive minds come together to explore a diverse range of subjects, from history and science to literature and current affairs. The primary mission of the Quiz Club is to foster a spirit of intellectual adventure and academic excellence among students. Through regular quiz sessions, competitions, and interactive discussions, the club aims to create an engaging environment that encourages learning beyond the classroom.

Activities
- As part of the Reading Day celebrations 2023, the Club conducted an Inter-Departmental Literary Quiz Competition in association with IQAC, College Library and the Department of English on 19th June 2023. Ananthu H Krishna and John Joseph (M.A English) secured the first position and Nobin T Koshy and Reshmi K (M.A English) secured the second position respectively.
- As part of the Gandhi Jayanthi Day celebrations 2023, the Club conducted an Inter-Departmental Gandhian Quiz Competition on 11th October 2023. Nobin T Koshy and Jacob Issac (M. A. English) secured the first position and Abhirami Subhash and Dhilsha Dhillil (B. Com F&T) secured the second position respectively.
- The Club conducted an Inter-Departmental Sports Quiz Competition on 15th November 2023. Sobin S Thekkedam and Akshaijith (B.A English) secured the first position and Nobin T Koshy and Reshmi K (M.A English) secured the second position respectively.
- In association with the KSEB Officers Association, the Quiz Club conducted the Preliminary Round of the All Kerala Power Quiz Competition on 21st November 2023. Mr. Rejimon M J, Assistant Engineer, KSEB Office Edathua served as the Quiz Master. Kashyap Suresh (I MSc Physics) secured the first position and Abhishek T(I MSc Mathematics) secured the second position respectively.
- In association with the Electoral Literacy Club and IQAC, the Quiz Club conducted the National Voters’ Day Quiz Competition on 17 January, 2024. The winning team was selected to participate in the District level Quiz programme organized on 22 January 2024 by District Collectorate and Election Office, Alappuzha. Our team secured third place.
Achievements
Albin K J and Harikrishnan S from II B.Com Finance and Taxation secured first position in
the District Level Quiz Competition, organized by the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) in connection with the Parliament Election 2024 held on April 1, 2024.
