Aquatic Club
The Aquatic Club of St. Aloysius College Edathua aims to promote water sports and activities to foster the students’ aquatic instincts. The majority of the students of the college are from the Kuttanad region, which is surrounded by water bodies, and they are very interested in taking part in aquatic events. So the aquatic club instigates coaching camps to enable the fascinated students to reach their competitive edge. The excelled athletes of the College participate in various boat races and aquatic competitions conducted at University, District, State, National, and International levels. Our Aquatic team achieves great success in water polo and swimming competitions at the M.G University every year. Arjuna Award winners Olympian Sebastian Xavier, Johnson Thomas and Saji Thomas are proud alumni of Aloysian Aquatic Club.
