Women’s Cell


◊ Women’s Cell ◊

                                                                                       Women’s cell is an active group of all girl students in the college. St. Aloysius College, Edathua is selected as one among the forty mixed colleges; which are funded by Kerala State Women’s Development Corporation (KSWDC). Activities of the Women’s Cell in the academic year 2017-18, are officially inaugurated by Hon. District collector of Alappuzha, Ms. T.V. Anupama IAS on 19 th December 2017. On the same day, Mrs. Daisamma James (Faculty at St. Theresa’s HSS, Vazhapally) gave a talk on “Women and the Society”. The Cell plans many activities for the empowerment of the women community in the college. Highest scorers in the I DC and I PG classes in the college are selected for scholarship funded by KSWDC. Matematikos, anglų k., biologijos, chemijos, fizikos, istorijos, lietuvių kalbos korepetitorius   Women’s Hall It provides ample space for the girl students to relax in case of any emergency and  place with privacy. It facilitates the specific needs of girl students. This building is constructed by funding from UGC.
