Aquatic Club

The Aquatic Club at St. Aloysius College Edathua is dedicated to promoting water sports and activities among its students, fostering their natural affinity for aquatic environments. Many students come from the Kuttanad region, an area surrounded by water bodies, and have a keen interest in participating in aquatic events. The club organizes coaching camps to help these students develop their skills and reach their full potential in competitive water sports.
The college’s top athletes compete in boat races and various aquatic competitions at the university, district, state, national, and even international levels. The aquatic team consistently achieves success in water polo and swimming competitions at M.G. University. The Aloysian Aquatic Club is proud to have produced Arjuna Award winners and Olympians Sebastian Xavier, Johnson Thomas, and Saji Thomas.
