Topic: “You Are More Than You Think: Discovering, Working and Adapting”
A life guidance session titled “You Are More Than You Think: Discovering, Working and Adapting” was conducted for college students to inspire self-awareness and adaptability. The speaker was Dr Gem Cherian, HOD, Department of English. She began with the inspiring story of Colonel Sanders, founder of KFC, highlighting how persistence and courage can lead to success at any stage in life. Through a simple paper activity—crumpling and reshaping the same sheet into various forms—students learned that life’s challenges leave marks that build character and that adaptability leads to growth. The talk encouraged students to take their first step toward success today, embracing change with confidence and creativity. Around 50 students were present. Vice Principal Dr Santy Joseph, convenor of the session, delivered the welcome speech and Mr Alex S Mathew conveyed Vote of Thanks.
